This has been an interesting turn of events. On the one hand, I am phone-less and Ipod-less with only my laptop and I feel like i'm missing my right arm or something. They are both in my purse which is currently at my boyfriend's house which we are both presently locked out of. To top it off, it is storming cats and dogs out. We stayed in his car for awhile to wait out the storm, but Mother Nature decided to rear her ugly head to give me a nice red present (as the comercials go).
In a lot of pain and without pain meds, we both walked to my house (luckily it isn't so far), only to find that I had literally nothing at my house. My boyfriend ended up going back to his house (to catch his grandma before she left so he could get in) and I managed to find some ibuprofen in one of the drawers in my bedroom...not that Ibuprofen really does anything for epic cramps and soreness, but it made me feel better mentally.
On the bright side, my boyfriend was a sweetheart and did walk me home. Plus I think the Ibuprofen is helping slightly with the cramps...maybe i'm just getting used to them. #womenproblems
Anyways, i'm about to pass out but i'll explain more about what happened later!

10 EASY ways you can make money in college(:!
Hey out there ladies!
So as of late I've really had finances on the brain - yawn, right? No one likes to talk finances. However, the Google machine has popped out many useful tips that I will start doing this summer! Allow me to share them with you...:)
1. If you want to make some easy money for college, start donating plasma and blood! Apparently, you can get paid a pretty decent amount for doing it! And I know for the blood they let you go every few days, but i'm not really sure how many times a week you can go for plasma. But hey, $35 extra dollars in your pocket is nice!
2. If any of you have blogs or YouTube accounts, this one's for you! All you have to do is apply for Adsense and start making money off of the ads on your videos or blog pages. Granted, you won't neccessarily be rolling in the dough, but in time you could make a pretty penny!
3. If you have a computer and the internet, this one is easy: freelance writing. All you have to do for this is be decent at writing and the ability to send your work to other people. There are freelance writing jobs all over the internet! Just use Google (:.
4. Bouncing off of freelance writing, you can also sort of be a freelance photographer! Take stock photos and give them to websites where you can make a profit everytime someone downloads your photo. http://www.dreamstime.com/?gclid=CJP3zeOu87cCFZE-MgodXF8AcQ
5. I recommend starting a little online shop of handmade items. Etsy.com is a place where you can sell anything you make handmade! I'm going to be selling a jewelry line on there soon!
6. Find out what you are good at doing and sell your talent! I saw an idea on a website that said if you are good at mani/pedi's than sell your services at a cheaper college-friendly price! This is very inexpensive as the equipment needed for a pedicure can all be purchased the the Dollar Tree :). If you're a good note taker, sell your notes. If you are good at teaching, be a speech tutor or writing tutor!
7. This one is easy and everyone can do it, no skill level required. Recycle! Take what you already are buying and using, and sell it back! Easy!
8. During the holiday seasons, sell something like flowers or handmade chocolate! Charge at a reasonable college-friendly price on campus! Put flyers around to let people know!
9. Teach a mini-course. You can make this mini course on DIYing, cosmetics, writing, speaking, study habits, making money ;) - anything! Any skill that you think people would want to learn :).
10. For all you organizers and cleaners, how 'bout this one! Put flyers around campus letting people know that you can be there cleaning lady for a fee, or even someone who is good at sorting and organizing! If you want, you can keep this limited to your dorm building too as a way of getting to know the people there.
Those are my ten unique ideas! Hope you got some inspiration from some and take advantage of all the easy ways to make some dough! I know I will.
Happy hunting!

Life Moving Forward
Alright, so I am really excited! I have so many awesome things i'm starting and places i'm going! I'm opening up my own online shop full of my own designs (LeatherRoses21 one Etsy if you're curious). It will be opening within the next week and a half. I'll post here officially when it does :).
Additionally, I have decided to write a book. Nothing super long but it will be everything I was originally going to do to this blog. Further explanation will come later but the plan is that you guys will be able to purchase individual chapters or the entire book.
As if that wasn't big news enough - i'm moving! I just recently purchased my apartment (the princess room as I call it) and will be moving in officially at the end of the summer. I'll be doing a room tour then probably for all of you who watch me on YouTube.
Life is really looking up for me. :) I've got big plans and I'm looking forward to taking these steps with all of you!
Until next time!
Stay beautiful :)

A new discovery,..DIY Midi rings!
So, I probably should mention that in this blog, i'll have lots of different things. I have my main focus, and then some other girly things I wanna share with the world. I was perusing the internet for different how-to's and I came upon this really simple and adorable one! DIY Midi rings!
I'll show you the video I got to make the Midi rings (they don't look quote like mine, I went out on a bit of a venture for this one). Basically all it took was a large jump ring, a little blingy gem (from one of those stick on bling packets), and some glue! Really simple project. I do recommend that if you are glueing a gem onto yours, that you put the ring around a round object, like a sharpie marker, to keep it and the gem stable, otherwise it wont want to stay one while drying.
Maybe i'll come back with more DIYs for you guys. :) I'm constantly coming up with something new to make.
TTYL!
Oh, and here's the link to the video to make some even cooler looking Midi rings!:

Hey out there! <3
So becuase this if my first blog, I suppose I should tell the internet a little about myself. My name is Elizabeth Stevens. Really nice and boring. Although, I prefer Liz. Elizabeth sounds too much like Queen Elizabeth...old and kinda boring.
Anyways, i'm going to go on a journey this summer. Not really the kind of journey that requires I pack my bags and go to Scotland or Europe (I wish) but a kind of journey of the self. And let's digress for a moment shall we? Let's be real, Gerard Butler is as hot as they come when it comes to old men. Scottish men in general are just simply amazing. Some day I shall go to Scotland, meet an amazing hunk of man there, be married, and let you all know how it goes on here ;).
So a journey of the self. Or maybe a better way to say it would be a journey of what I want to become. To make this all more clear, this summer i'm going to be looking into something. In this day and age men are still regarded as the head of everything. Even with women's rights groups and movements, we as women still feel "looked down on" and obnoxious for pushing are feminist views on men.
So, to find out what it really means to be a women. A happy, confident, successful, wonderful women! That is the journey I will be taking this summer and hopfully the rest of my life. I have always loved blogging. I blogged when Xanga first came out (I hope more people know about this so I don't feel old) and continued to make other blogs on random blogging sites including webs.com (which really isn't a blogging site persay). So, here's to new beginnings and new blogs with a purpose!
If anyone out there is reading, take this journey with me :) Give me feedback! I will be blogging twice a week on specific topics, looking at specific women and might come back different times throughout the week if I feel like I need to let something loose..
Anyways, I cannot wait to start! Until next time..
Liz
